Old Vs. New RP Max-ATF specs

Hi,

I need to replace oil in a Jeep JK with 545RFE Auto transmission.
I bought many bottles of Royal Purple Max-ATF but looking at the label on the bottle I realized that I got the "old" Max-ATF that was improved starting from Sep 2007.
I need your help to know if the old Max-ATF meet the ATF4+ specs, here follow the old and new Typical Properties.

The NEW MaxATF is the universal-multivehicle ATF.

The old was the DexronIII/Mercon fluid.

Return the old and get the new.

ATF+4 is an excellent performing fluid. You should just stick with that!

The new stuff sure looks thinner.
Of course, that is a design feature, not a problem.

That is the question that the OE will never answer.

My Toyota, that requires DexronIII, has used ATF+4 for the past 50k miles. I've also used in it place of Mercon, MerconV, MV, TIV, D-matic...... and the list grows.
