I was cleaning out my parents' garage and I came across this old Fram orange can so I thought I would share. I don't know how old it is but it's definitely one that I would not have bought for one of my cars, too big for my Hondas.

Yep ... hard to believe there's no sigh of rust anywhere. You going to cut it open for a look inside?

It's not very old having the sure grip. My guess 10-12 years. If I had a application , I wouldn't hesitate using it.

The greasy handprint dates back to 2004 era. They had a TV ad where a guy was eating a Wonder bread sandwich while he changed the oil, and got his bread all dirty in the process.
Think you're right & most likely 2004. I don't even remember the handprint on the boxes but I vaguely remember the commercial.

Here's an old BITOG post talking about the racing logo back in 2003.

SureGrip has been around for at least 25 years now.

The only two vehicles that it could have gone on would have been my folks either the 32 Ford Roadster or the 51 Split window Chevy pickup. But they are stored in a shed a hundred miles away.
