Old 2014 nissan xtera cabin filter, hasnt meen changed in 7 years

With a new one there's more cold air coming in from the cabin. A/C is even much colder. Smells fresher, not dump or smelly.

It it amazing the HVAC system still has any air flow at all when you see some of these CAFs.

I changed what I'm certain was the factory installed CAF on a 2016 Chevy Malibu a few weeks ago. The filter was heavy it was so packed with fine dust.

Out of all the “newer” features in the last 10-15 years I think the cabin filter is one that really is beneficial and not just a gimmick. I can’t believe how quickly they get dirty compared to my engine air filters. I know the engine filter has way more pleats etc…but still it’s impressive.

What did you replace it with? The Wix XP/Napa Platinum is a good cabin filter to use for your Xterra

i havent replaced them yet, havent got the chance to purchase a replacement set. All i did was deep clean the sucker
