I really wish they were using the EP version. But it will be interesting to see how the SM version holds up.

I'd like to see a comparison test of the Mobil 1,EP to the Amsoil Series 3000, 5w-30. Of course, the Series 3000 is significantly more expensive, even at dealer prices.

The series 3000 has always been the one Amsoil line that has intrigued me. Perhaps when my clearance stash of M1 runs out I will consider a couple of years worth (3 gallons). I just hate to spend that much for a truck that runs only 6-7k miles a year.
