The OP doesn't need a syn in this application, and according to the owners manual 5w30 is all thats required. There are many 5w30 grades available for less that $10 a gallon, even Quaker State Ultimate Durability can be had when on sale.
He DID read the owners manual and he said 5w30
No one said anything about synthetic being REQUIRED, but it's definitely ideal for this application.
I would go with any of the 30 weight synthetics from Mobil 1, Pennzoil Platinum, or Valvoline ... and the oversized Fram XG 4386
