Oil Overfill

I have a car that specs refill of 4.4 liters with filter. 4.732 liters is 5 qt. Would less than 1/3 liter overfill matter for most cars? Is the oil that close to the crank when running?
My Element says 4.5qts, I dump the whole 5qt jug in and it sits right at the top of the full mark on the dipstick everytime. Will not hurt a thing

It helps to visualize. 1/3 of a quart could mean 1/4”-3/8” rise in level, or less. The only risk is going up 1.5-2” into the spinning crank where aeration and foaming might occur. I’ve assumed the F at the dipstick is just below the pan gasket.

I agree with others for most part in that 1/3 qt extra would be negligible as in if you spread that across the sump you are talking maybe 1/8” in height of oil level. Where you get into trouble is when it gets up into the rotating assembly and gets beat around.
