Oil overfill by 150ml

I changed my oil this morning @ 5:30 am (couldn't sleep) Anyways...my Focus takes 4.25 Litres and I put in 4.40 Litres...I dont think 150ml (.16qtz or 5 ozs)over fill is a big deal but just thought I'd see if anyone thinks so either way???? I assume there is a margin of error for accidental overfills...thx

no problem as long as you dont see bubbles or foam. Im sure given that level of overfill, you will be fine.

Not even close to being a problem. I sort of put a limit on my 2.0 Nissan which takes 4 quarts to about .25 quarts over. I intentionally put a bit more in. so that's over 200 ml over.

I always over fill my old Voyager van by half a quart. It leaks.That way it does not get to the add level for 1500 miles or so.

I suspect that 500 ML would not be a problem.

That is a small amount, and would barely make a difference on the reading on the stick.

My wife's Honda calls for 3.6L of oil and I put in an entire 4.4L jug, so I think you'll be safe

My engine takes 6.6 qt and I just use 7.0 qt. Been doing this for years.
