Most people are severe service and dont realize it, so more frequent changes are still a good idea to get the crud out.
Well, consider the source: Greencar.com-environmental propaganda.
Such as: 3000 miles OCI are a hold over from the days of non-detergent single grade oils. Whew, that must be going back around 50 years or so. Or, California
only recycles 60% of used motor oil.
Hmm, 60% isn't all that bad considering the current demographics in the Golden state.
I wonder who is dumping the other 40%?
