I thought it evaporated out the PCV!
16oz. MMO, 6 quarts engine oil...
For serious, though, I thought MMO was gentle, safe cleaning. Otherwise i would have never put it in. So, maybe ill get the oil changed sooner. Ill buy some ramps and tools...

Say you started out with a Pennzoil Ultra 5w30, which is 10.3cSt. You add 16 ounces of MMO (roughly 10%) and you end up with an oil that is 8.8cSt. You are now running a 20-weight
Well if I am running a 20-weight.. Hmmm. I cant help but think the engine is eing more lubricated? I am still confused about what a Turbo does to the deal! (Engine oil temp.)
I will be changing this as soon as I can. Maybe i should order the FCP Groton Volvo OEM filter sooner rather than later..
And I STILL dont know if I have a 2.3 or a 2.4, though one of the posts seems to believe it is the 2.4. It got buried in a post flurry.
Well, turbo's spin at high speed and have very tight tolerances (and clearances). Adding anything to the sump that might negatively affect the lubricity that turbo sees would be a big no no for me.
And while having a 20-weight in there means that the oil will pump faster, it will also lower overall oil pressure. But since we don't know what your oil pressure actually IS, we don't know if that is a bad thing or not.
