Oil Life Monitors vs UOA's

For me they come on in shorter intervals then when I actually change the oil, I just reset it and keep going. UOA indicates the longer interval is fine.

I always let my OLM count down to zero before doing my oil changes and my used oil analysis have always shown there to be lots of life left. So they can definitely be trusted.
The 2006 Ody one is pretty good, at the limits of conventional oil....so I just reset it and carry on.
No idea yet; I ran an AutoRx clean and then a rinse cycle on conventional oil, very short, and am only now 2500 miles into an interval with Pennzoil Platinum, so I haven't even approached the OLM limits yet. Right now, after 3 months, the OLM is saying 66% oil life is left.
At this rate, I'll still have 33% left after 6 months and ~5400 miles.

The one on my Acura TL does not account for the negative effect of short trips. It is showing 40% remaining when the used oil analysis shows ready to change.
The service indicator system in my old BMW recommends oil changes between 10k and 12k for me regardless of oil used. It factors in coolant temp, rpm and mileage. Going by my only conventional UOA:

I think 10 might be doable but the oil would be totally depleted. 12k seems like a stretch.
On synthetic it would probably be fine. I am in the process of finding out.

Patman, is that on a GM OLM and what oil are you running? The reason I ask, is that my brother just purchased a 2008 GM product and we are trying to come up with a plan as it relates to OCI's and the OLM.

Yep, this is on my 98 Corvette, and I'm running Pennzoil Platinum 5w30. The Corvette's oil life monitor was calibrated based on the use of a synthetic oil.

I've never done a used oil analysis on the RDX's oil (yet) but I do follow the OLM even after changing from M1 to PP. I'm pretty sure honda did testing with M1 so it should be dead on.
What sucks is the car doesn't even see 6000KM's before needing an oil change, I understand its a turbo but still a bit disappointed.
Also I don't reset and go because the OLM ties in with a maintenance system where the car tells me what package of [censored] I have to do to the car. I usually do it all my self
