So i'm busy working on my engine. had a bit bad luck with it, see this topic for more info Piston damage seat leon cupra

Would there be any benefit running a group IV or V oil in place of the Shell ultra after running in the piston rings? I can use the ultra for running in the cupra and in our second car, a '98 Suzuki Alto 1.0 with only 30k miles.

DrRoughneck, Yes, the same engine as in the Golf R20, Audi s3/TTS and Leon cupra R, not to be mistaken with the Golf V GTI engine, that's also a 2.0T FSI, but with a lot of different internal parts.
