Since I'm a dealer I recently had 4 (yes FOUR) Nissan 300ZXs lol, but one of them really caught my eye and I had to have it as a keeper (the others were for resale). It's the only 300zx I have ever seen that is completely showroom mint. Every interior piece is there... And so clean it looks like it was always a garage queen. Clutch and shifter feel new, even the leather on the steering wheel is not worn.

It has over 170k miles but took it to the racetrack and ran 14.8 (non-turbo 2-seater version).

It has come the time to change the oil and I was thinking about giving Mobil 1 0w30 a try..., right now it has 10w30 iirc.

If you`re racing/tracking it,use a 40 or 50 weight. Everyday driving,10W30 is fine. These engines can take an immense amount of abuse, but they like thicker oils. I`m on my 3rd Z. They are VERY addicting cars :^) My friend just did a TT swap on his. Post some pics please :^D

Florida doesn't need a 0w30.

But, Castrol Syntec 0w30 is pretty thick if you really want 0w30 on the bottle label.

I think that you should use Mobil 1 5w30 or 10w30 High-mileage or extended-performance, or Maxlife full synthetic,

i vote rotella T6. a 5w40 wont be that bad on start up and its a hdeo that will hold up to some track time. my second choice would be mobil 1 high mileage 10/30 if your against a hdeo
