You probably just need a Data Sync cable. It's a special kind of USB cable meant specifically for connecting things like phones to a computer. Any computer shop will have them.
Tegger, he has a degree in Computer Engineering. You'd think he'd know how to do it. I guess not.

I've told him before, just email the pictures to yourself with your phone, then you have them on your computer. That's what I do.

You shouldn't be allowed to buy RTV, What do you think your accomplishing here?? If the trans is leaking between the Bell Housing & Engine?.....All the RTV in the world will have zero affect.

I don't think he's anything of what he wants folks to think. I feel a bit sorry for him, actually.

And that's what he's doing, too. He's said so.

My own phone and computer grok very happily together. Despite that, I too tend to prefer to email photos to myself rather than have to navigate the cumbersome UI that comes with Windows and my Windows phone. So he's not totally wrong...

I emailed the pics on my phone to myself and then downloaded them onto my coputer, then uploaded onto tinypic, but that's a cumbersome task and i'm lazy. I'd much rather just drag and drop but something funny's going on with my phone, AND my phone is [censored] (that iphone is not mine, was a family members, haha) I took these pics with a samsung galaxy victory which is why daily use phone, it's a frustrating phone to use and is really slow, but it's cheap and paid off!

I asked about rtv vs jb weld, yall said rtv, so I used rtv I also have jb weld original forumla. would that be better? what about steelstix? A guy also mentioned water weld, is that any good or no?

better yet, WHAT CAUSED THIS TRANS LEAK? why did it happen? did some mechanic purposely mess it up and put some crazy chemical in there to mess up the trans? you think this car will way outlast the taurus? the taurus is one of the more reliable domestics, supposedly, but is toyota quality really that legendary that i can get 300k out of this car?
my goals are 300k on this camry and 200k on the 09 taurus. i have lower expectations for it, but the expectations are still high for a domestic.

Actually, covering over the little drip hole Toyota put at the bottom will make the situation worse. Good luck explaining that though.

Bottom line, the less he touches his cars, the longer they will last.

You're the engineer.
You tell us what chemicals that a mechanic has access to that that they could pour into your transmission, that will make the seals leak, but will not affect the functionality of the transmission.

If we could predict the future, we would all be playing the lotto, not talking to you about your issues.

I NEVER said to glob anything on your Transmission! Your choice to "RIG" your car is on you!!! Major Repair is something way out of your wheelhouse, Go back too LARPing, dungeons and dragons, Jacking off or whatever you do at your parents house.

You've said that four or five times by now. It's as though you're afraid no one will believe you.

i just changed my spark plugs along with the oil this past week, with laser iridiums. so laser iridiums are the ones that last longer, nad the ix is the performance plug?

and don't use anti seize with ngk spark plugs, right? After compresseion testing in December, I used anti seize on my old plugs, and this time, when I took them out, the anti seize was still on the plugs and it sort of created a mess and it became lumpy and this was the gray anti seize, i think alumnium? Would copper anti seize have been better since it can better withstand high temperatures? and the bottoms of my spark plugs were whitish gray, had like some sort of coating over them.

will post a pic soon, but removing this rtv isn't that difficult, use a gasket scraper, but nobody told me about a drip hole! and i'll post a pic of the spark plugs soon when i have a chance.

also, i used valvoline maxlife full synthetic in hopes it'll help with the oil leak, and if the valve cover gasket is leaking, it's very minor, should I still replace it or no? I'll get an oem one as the felpro one from last time sucked and only lasted 2 years or a little less than 30k before it began leaking again.

And will this help with a timing chain cover leak and how can i stop the timing chain cover leak?

I'm thinking about using BG MOA with my oil change next time, will that help or no? Thanks.

Lesson learned: advise no one who doesn't listen.

I still can't believe your cars run after having an owner like you.

AGE, gasket usually last about 10 years no matter what it is made of, so your 2003 Camry in 2016 is about time.

You are still driving your car, it starts, stop, turn, goes on the highway if you don't mess with it. A few leaks here and there are expected and is not considered a quality or reliability problem.

At least not until you screw up anything with brute force.

1) you used too much and
2) you didn't read the instruction on the box that told you not to use anti seize, did you?
