To keep your new Ford warranty, pick whatever 5w20 syn is on sale, and change every 6 months/7500 mi. This assumes your "mods" are simple bolt-ons, and have not already voided your warranty (no turbo, etc.).

It's not full syn but I've used Motorcraft Semi-synthetic in my 35,000 mile 08 Focus since new. Easy to find at Wally World and inexpensive. I change oil every 5k miles. UOAs show the engine is doing great with this oil and I have no reason to change.
