Arvin used to be the parent company for Purolator and Allied Signal for Fram. Honeywell now owns Fram. According to the bottom of the Purolator website:

Purolator Filters NA LLC, a joint venture company of The Bosch Group and The Mann+Hummel Group

Champ... I don't know.

Actually Clarcor doesn't own Purolator anymore. Bosch and Mann/Hummel do in a joint venture. Clarcor does however own Purolator Air (the plane/delivery company) iirc.

You are right, they own the air-filter side.

Oil filter are owned by... as you posted.

I do not think anyone is reading what the OP wrote, he means who makes filters for purolator, fram and champ as he is saying they have filters made for them all from one company. Not what filters do those companies make.

honneywell was purchased by allied signal then they took over the honneywell name

I don't think any of the majors make all of their own filters. I think they all buy some low volume numbers elsewhere.
