That seems to be the new standard for picking products these days, regardless of the actual performance of the products. My view is that better oil filtration can certainly made a difference in wear over the long run and help maintain top mechanical heath of the engine. Lots of wear studies show a direct correlation between oil cleanliness and engine wear. Same with running a bit thicker oil than 2.6 cP, more HTHS gives more film thickness and less wear in studies. That's all I need to know with respect to oil filter efficiency and oil viscosity.just because it doesn’t blow up isn’t a good reason to run inferior products.
