Oil filter for B&S Platinum 24HP

It must be a secret which one to use. I've looked all over and can't seem to find it. HELP!

The spin-on oil filter on my car (2008 Ford Focus) fits the B&S engine on the riding mower. It should be a Wix 51348 or purolator L10241.

Motorcraft FL400S

I have ran that filter on my Briggs 25hp lawnmower for 8 years. I have over 450 hours on that mower with the Fl400s filter and supertech straight 30w oil.

I have a Baldwin B1410 I plan to use on mine next weekend.

I think the stock Briggs part number is 696854. (B&S refers to it as the 'premium' filter)

Went with a Wix 57035.

I'll double down on that!!!! The Motorcraft FL400S has all the same specs including bypass pressure as the B&S filter and is easily every bit of being 3x larger.

I have a twenty horsepower intec plus avs 31c.i.d 500cc powering a craftsman. I use a fl-1a and nextgen 5w20, 100hr oci's. Also have a 12.5hp vanguard using same, used 5w20 in this engine last 700hours. Have never had a problem one , plus it holds tons of oil.
