Sales pitches all, though the Napa guy is fairly funny. But it's always the same. Whatever features your filter has are better than the ones the other guy has and his are o-so-bad. Same-o, same-o.
Overall, if a guy is trying to learn about filters, he should avoid the sales pitches as much as he can and find the deeper tech where features are discussed more impartially. Those can be hard to find. I think you just have to wade thru it all with your brain being batted about like a ping pong ball for a while. Eventually, it all gets mixed together into a disgusting stew, the facts start floating the the top and you can scoop them out, wash off the brown stuff and start looking more objectively.
