Additionally, I would say that going to Pennzoil for a run, and using a higher weight oil might be worth a try. On that forum I linked, they discussed seeing an oil cap on a new 2013 GT that had 5w-50 on it.. Supposedly this may be only for certain ones, but still, it begs the question "Does heavier oil in these 5.0s work better?"
If it were my car, I'd run a bottle of higher-weight Pennzoil and see if that did the trick. I don't see it hurting the engine one bit.
