An EaBP has no bypass. The only way to tell if it's plugged is if it doesn't get warm.




You had better talk to your Amsoil technical folks...I was told they don't and a good friend of mine was told they do indeed have a bypass built in.

Better to know the facts to be on the safe side...

I've got two of them sitting right here. No dome end or open end bypass valve in them. There would be no point to having one on there. The restriction of the mount or the fittings just about assure that you'll have near supply side pressure 24/7/365. If used in a combo mount, the max PSID will be what the full flow bypass valve is rated.

..but just to say that I DID call .. I did.


There is no bypass valve on Amsoil bypass filters.
