I will. The previous tank at 42+ was half empty when I changed the oil. The second half of that tank gained over 2 mpg from half tank to empty....

This tank so far is showing 43.6 even in the never ending cool weather.

It will be another month before I fill up again. A tank last's me anywhere from 1-2 months depending on how much motorcycle riding I get in...

Another tank, and a new record, 681 miles on 15.5 gallons, 43.94 MPG! Still debating on what to try next, the Mazda with tons o' moly or TGMO.....

Interestingly, the EPA has revised its procedure for estimating MPG...here's the 05 Camry I4 estimate:

New MPG Old MPG
21 City 24 City
30 Hwy 33 Hwy

I get (and beat) the old with 24.5/34.5 (@ 70-77)

We had a rental 2013 sonata recently with the 1.8 auto.

It was running Mobil 0w20, was 5k miles overdue for an oil.change, was overfilled by at least a quart, and saw 43-45 from Baton Rouge to Jacksonville and back. That was loaded down, AC roaring, and doing 60-85 depending upon traffic.

I admit I was pulsing the throttle to maximize fuel economy at speed...but mainly when in hills on I10.

Their quality has come a long way in ten years, though their auto transmission in the one I had was confused more often than not.

The Korean brands still aren't for me, then again, the list of vehicles that meet my requirements is so small as to be laughable.

My sidekick sees significantly better mileage with 5w30, but isn't specced to run it above 45 degrees.

My old xb would consistently run nearly a full second faster in 0-60 when filled with vr1 20w50 as opposed to 5w30. Never could figure out why. Guess the higher oil pressure screwed with the vvti.
