Hey guys. I've been using Blackstone for a while now and I am a bit confused...hear me out.
They have flagged lead,copper, and iron. Not to to worried about iron but I was thinking where the heck is all this copper and lead coming from? I've ripped apart a few of these motors in this year Corolla and they do not use and copper or lead Babbitt bearings!
All aluminum/silicone. Piston pins are press fit/conrods are made from iron. I have used fuel additives during this interval too. Just a little unsure where the copper and lead are coming from.
