I get so sick and tired of hearing somebody make some smart aleck remark such as 'MMO works best when left on the shelf.' Where exactly is your proof of that? The people who like MMO may not have proof that it works, but the vast majority of people here who have tried MMO seem to have gotten something in the way of positive results. And we keep waiting to see evidence of MMO destroying engines and that evidence never comes.
Meanwhile some of the people who put down MMO or Kreen or whatever sure seem to be willing to promote some other product without any proof that the product they are promoting works.
I personally have not used MMO all that much. I use it in my lawnmower and I have used it in the gas of my car. I saw my father decades ago use it in one or two car engines. The one thing I know about MMO is that most of the people who have tried it here and talked about their experiences say that it worked for them. I have heard only a few negative experiences. Yes we are talking about personal experience and not MIT or Cal Tech running intensive and extensive lab tests. Guess what? We are probably never going to get some sort of elaborate lab testing for any of these products, regardless if you are talking about Auto-RX Plus, Kreen, MMO, or anything else in the way of engine cleaners and oil supplements.
I have a suggestion. I realize this is a suggestion coming out of 'fly over' country but here goes anyway. The people who love Auto-RX Plus can have their threads where they talk about how wonderful Auto-RX Plus is and the great things it did for their engines, etc. And the people who want to talk about MMO or Kreen or whatever can have their threads where they talk about their products. People should be allowed here to talk about their positive experiences with a product without being attacked, especially personally. But it order to have a discussion if anybody has had any true negative experiences with a product we need that too because we have to have both sides in order to have a discussion. But everybody needs to be truthful, civil (no personal attacks), and polite to everybody else here, even me. That is the only way we are going to find out if a product is useful or not, because when it comes to most if not all of these products all we have are personal experiences, maybe compression testing, and maybe before and after photographs.
