Was there infection? Pus?
None of that. Just blood. B positive. While wading in the shallows I stepped on a rock covered with barnacles and other razor-sharp mollusks. I got a dozen or so razor cuts and as many gushers and squirters in the sole and pads of my foot. I thought I might attract Bruce and his toothy friends.

I didn't do bandages. I just let drip-dry and crust over. Put on a clean sock after disinfection. 5 days later I was as good as new.
I misread! My big toe was super-swollen or swole. I had to pull a 1-inch shard of shell out of it. Surfing is a bloodsport!

. Sold out game. Virginia Tech vs UVA, Hokies won it 76-63. Biggest rivals probably on the east coast. They call their games the Commonwealth Clash. A trusted kickstand if ever I saw one
Been vacationing in Aruba for the past five years, renting a timeshare condo at the Costa Linda Resort. Finally was able to scoop up a timeshare for ourselves for the first week of December - they are in great demand! Great island - outside the hurricane path, speak English, take US dollars, drive on the right, love Americans, soft white beaches, and it's warm and sunny all year. Hoping to buy another in the first quarter.

Very nice. My wife and I went for the first time to Aruba this year. It was very nice. The wind helped keep the heat and humidity at bay. Surprised how humid it could get in the afternoon being that it is a desert island. I guess it's from the sea water.
First update in 2025.
