Radiology; any specialty really, pays extremely well. I know in Ontario you are north of $400K/year. The world is your oyster, if you can handle the long stretch in post-secondary, I think you'll naturally figure out what specialty you are interested in, as I believe at the beginning everybody has to take the same stuff. My cardiologist originally was planning on family medicine and being a GP until he realized how vague and overly generalized that field actually was, which immediately drew him into specializing in something to be more useful; do more good.
Yes at the start everybody studies the same things. In western medicine, you have to become a competent all round physician before you're allowed to specialize. I understand that in the old USSR for example you could go straight into a specialty (say Ear, Nose and Throat without knowing anything about Obstetrics, Psychiatry, etc) but not in any western society.

Being a good GP is said to be the hardest branch of medicine. I was a GP for a decade and I agree. You have to know quite a bit about everything.

In mid career I became a specialist. You could do that in the past. My specialty doesn't pay as much as some specialties but every branch of medicine pays well enough. And it's never boring.

Maybe I’m just sensitive. I work in a majority-male shipyard. I see old men stop and turn their decrepit bodies a full 180 when ANY woman walks by just to ogle them. It’s disgusting.
I'm not a fan of that either.
But remember women do it too. I get hit on by tons of 20 some year olds... girls...
It doesn't bother me and I am single but I never go there. I have as much in common with them as one of @AutoMechanic
steak dinners...lol

I'm the one in the back :)
