OEM chrysler/mopar filter cut open

This is off of my personal daily driver 2012 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi 46000 miles....oil and filter has 6200 miles on them..that was last of my free dealer oil changes from when i bought the truck new...I presume its pyb 5w20 that they are using...the filter was in a bucket in the back of the truck and it rained...i let it dry/drain best i could after i cut it...i went back with same filter and 5w30 pppp..the silver bottle one.

Looks pretty good! Thanks for posting this, it is the same filter that is currently on my dad's 2013 Hemi Grand Cherokee. He has one more dealer oil change then I get to take over the maintenance.

Looks fine to me. This one is Purolator made and very similar construction including bypass and end cap design to a Motorcraft, except Mopar uses nitrile adbv.
