Odd Valvoline Statement?

Started using Extended Protection and noticed on the website Advanced has a lower rating on deposits and wear now? If they didn't change Advanced why as a Full Synthetic would now be much less on the deposit listing?

It's just marketing to make the more expensive product look significantly better. If they are all rated the same what is the point of their scales?

It's comparative. We don't know the delta between the Advanced and Extended.

I would think Advanced is still a very good oil - I will use my stash of it before switching over to the EP .

Vavoline full synthetic mostly group 3 but to make different then full synthetic valvoline maybe they use little to no poa and ester vavoline never disclose base oil I think they it will little poa and ester base because EP need little better base oil and additive.

Vavoline base oil this is just my opinion and but to make better oil ep It need better base oil and additive it from major brand like pennzoil ultra uses gtl and ester base/additive same mobil 1 ephas more poa and ester so base on this data from major oil brand to make ep oil it needs better base oil and additive package.

Are you confusing Valvoline EP to be an extended interval oil? Because it's not.
