No secret in DC for MIL funeral service at Arlington National Cemetery. Wife held ashes for couple years.

We are in a vacation condo in Pentagon City. Nice area.


We went for coffee am yesterday and come back to see replacement HVAC filters leaning by each door in the hallway.

Hard knock on the door same am

Four people

One guy in business suit
One gal in nice business slacks
One service type guy in blue collar shop pants
Another service worker type guy similar but green

“We are here to install your air filter “

Not my place so let them in

Guy changes filter after suit guy opens microwave and takes pictures

Gal takes photos of kitchen

Other guy in blue collar outfit goes on balcony

I'd close the door on them and call up the condo owner before anything because of several red flags.

• If the owners didn't tell me beforehand that the filters were going to be replaced
  • To add, not sure why they'd do that during occupancy on a vacation condo but maybe it's a normal thing? I've never reserved a vacation condo before.
• One air filter does not require four people, or even two.
• The moment they deviate from the air filter replacement is the moment I kick them out.

If they were anything close to what our conspiracy minds are dreaming up, they would have come in regardless of invitation. But out of curiosity, I would call the condo owner and ask what they were doing.
