It's the last interval of Valvoline Restore and Protect for the 03 Ford Focus with 174k miles. Runs perfect, doesn't burn oil, everything works, works well.
It is time again to add 8 oz of MILITEC1 to the oil sump and 2oz to the power steering. Already had some in the manual transmission fluid.
This fluid is fantastic, I love it in everything I use it in at home and at work.
I warmed up the engine prior to adding 8 oz to the oil. It is a metal conditioner that is activated by heat. I went through the gears aggressively and got fluid flowing everywhere.
Runs great. Treatment I've been using on this car for decades. Love the smell, love the production.

Why do you think the additive is fantastic? Pretty much no oil company nor auto manufacturer recommends oil additives

The label says "dry impregnated lubrication". Sounds like graphite or Teflon.

I would not use it.
Hello
There is no graphite or Teflon.
Ive been using it at home and at work for 30 years. No problems. Lower amp draw on electrical motors, frees seized bearings, ect..

Apparently you know what's not in it.
But can you tell us what IS in it? What is it in the actual formulation that makes it special?
Don't tell me about the "driving feel" or other subjective criteria. Give us facts we can see ...
- where's the PDS? and SDS?
- got any trending used oil analysis to show a baseline and subsequent application results?
- etc?

Oh, and by the way ... it appears from their website that both the lubricant and grease are for firearms, not engines.

This product did have a contract with the US military to add it to all gear and motors. It has history of being used and tested big time if they supplied thousands of everything from cleaning your gun, to adding it to every piece of machinery.

The military requested tons of fluid for every piece of equipment. That contract lasted years. It's been tested by the ultimate vehicles with good reports.
Try it, it works on so many levels of machinery.

No, I have no used oil analysis or baselínes.
Never claimed that I did.
I've been using it for 30 years with no issues for me at work or at hóme.
All I'm stating is that it works for me. Can that be acceptable?

Typically the company would be required to have a SDS to comply with OSHA requirements.

How do you know that it “works”? What proof do you have that it’s actually doing anything at all?
In all likelihood it’s doing nothing at all.
