I want to extend my OCI a little more in my one GM car i usually
do 5 to 6,500 miles would like to try 7,500 to 8,000(one year+) miles i think it's doable
no problem with my oil's/filters on hand,thoughts?

great long drain oil's with good add packs;

car-1995 grand am 3100 v6(and no no intake leak)152,443
miles on car GM specs 5w30 but not a concern with other

oil in stash for this OCI- M1 5w30EP,M1 10w30HM,M1 TDT 5w40
M1 0w40,M1 0w30.

Filters in stash-Fleetguard LF3554(StrataPore)and AC UPF52 both
great filters with 100% syn media.

nice stash. i would actually mix the 5w30 and 10w30 50:50, and run a 50% mix. By the time next winter comes around, it will have sheared down a bit, for a thinner oil in the winter, and change it the following spring (with the remaining mix). Use the 5w40 to top up between changes. After that, use a 50:50 mix of the 0w30 and 0w40, and do similar. Oil change once a year every spring.

why mix oils? and if you are concerned about it "shearing down" why n ot just use a 0w-40 to start with? mixing 5w30 and 10w-30 seems pointless to me.

it will have sheard down some.

The oci you are currently running has worked for 150k . I wouldn't change a thang.

very true but just trying to squeeze more value outa my stash
and getting into the long drain crowd.

10,000 OCI with M1 of any kind is a piece of cake. I have done it for 31 years and never an engine failure with many high mileage engines. 200 to 300,000+ miles.
