I just do it every six months or so (usually at least once in November, to get me through the no-wash months). In between I'll occasionally use Turtlewax Ice Spray Wax.Since you noted it may not last a year, how long does it tend to last? I may use this on my daughter’s Passat since I would only want to wash/wax it every so often
They are likely expired and the chemicals have broken down. That said, I think a lot of us have at least one bottle of Nu Finish in the garage or shed somewhere.Still have a few bottles of NuFinish on the garage shelf. Haven't used them in years. Been using Adams Ceramic and Collinite 345. Might use the NuFinish for a quick wax job one day. After 2 lumbar fusions, detailing cars are not easy anymore -(....
My 2000 Ford Focus day tripper, grocery getter, today after a quick Nu-Finish polishing. Mr Clean Magic Eraser is great for getting the Nu Finish ‘ oopsies ‘ stains off of plastic trim.

Griotts has greatly expanded its auto products line including more options for auto paint . Not being familiar with them I stay with Griotts 3:1 Ceramic Sptay for everything except the front windshield .Griot’s 3-in-1 is excellent. Such a great product, and easy to apply.
I also like using Griot’s glass sealant on my windshield for water beading. In my younger days I used to use Rain-X, but hated the haze it always left and how my wipers would stick and skip sections on the windshield.
Once I tried out Griot’s glass sealant, I ditched Rain-X and never looked back. It lasts forever and leaves glass crystal clear.
