Not seeing E15.......Yet

Been watching for this since I dont own a car that can use it. My jeep owners manual is very specific about no more than 10% ethanol.

Had to run up to the Shell station to get gas for the toys. Tested it when I got home and its coming up 6% ethanol which is the lowest I have ever seen here.

What tool do use to test the ethanol content?

QT in the Chicago suburbs has 10% ethanol but also has the 88 E15 for only a few cents less.

In Beloit, WI yesterday I stopped for gas as Costco was closed and I needed to fill up to get home. Also, WI gas is cheaper than IL. Pilot was $3.69 and Speedway and Mobil were $3.99. I believe that Speedway is E10 as i stopped there last year. I wanted Speedway to use up a gift card balance but I didnt want to pay 30 cents extra.

Pilot had E15 for regular 87 and midgrade. The premium was E0 and was price $1.30 more? I wish I had taken a Pic. The usual spread for E10 fuel in Illiniois is $1-1.30 more. I would have actually filled premium in my TL to try out the E0 but I was driving my Taurus. In the TL, I usually just run 87 and take the MPG hit and save money. Ive run Premium occasionally but it has always been E10.
