65” Hisense U6GR (Roku variant, U6G runs android). Rated very favorably by RTINGS for the price… and it’s my first “quantum” display. I wanted a high end Sony or Samsung but can’t justify the price with little kids. $600 hurts a lot less than $1,200 if it gets broken. My only gripe is the speakers. I’m no audiophile, but man they’re trash. No bass at all, speech just didn’t sound right…. Dug out the old Vizio sound bar and it’s much improved, even using the headphone port on the TV for the signal lol.

Overall, I’m very pleased with it and it looks so much better than my 65” LG (which has an IPS panel so poor contrast and the backlight isn’t very bright). Roku’s interface is also superior to LG’s WebOS IMO as well.

Star Wars was also really good!

Nothing like seeing a second gen Taurus with historic plates to make you feel old.

Back then they were a great interstate car.
I drove to Miami and back from MD straight when I was young and stupid. 95 mph straight. That Taurus was kissing 30 mpg.

No telling how many GCA approaches/landings I performed with the P3 as an air traffic controller in Barber's Point Hawaii. Long flights and very tired crews deserved a welcome home.
