A picture of my old church van that I seen come thru my work parking lot. Still not over the fact they sold it and haven’t replaced it yet.
Now that my main domicile is in Marin, making me a bonafide Mariner, Marinite, or is it Marinboob? I can visit Northern California locations all the time. I went to Bodega, one of the locations used in Hitchcock's The Birds. In the movie, Bodega and Bodega Bay are rolled into one and the same location while in reality the two location are a few miles apart.
This is the school building in the movie. The kids get attacked by the birds and run down the street screaming. It is a private home.
The church that is right behind the school building. In the movie you can see the church from Bodega Bay when Tippi Hedren crosses the bay by boat. This was a miniature backdrop. In reality the church is beyond the hills a few miles away.

Goat Rock Beach 15 minutes north of Bodga Bay. This location has been seen in movies like The Goonies. November is a good time for vsisiting the coast. The weather tends to be pleasant and we get nice sunsets.
