I drove to Aptos today,
Near the start of the trip, about 15 miles south of SF on Hwy 1. There's a decent surf spot to the right.
I stopped for a cheeseburger in Half Moon Bay.
I saw a rafter of wild turkeys when during a scenic detour in Pescadero. If you look close you can make them out. I could hear them quite well.
An interesting building with a lifeboat in Aptos.
