Randall Munroe (who writes XKCD) presents as a member of the rationalist community, sort of a cartoonist version of Scott Alexander (who writes Astral Codex Ten).

Some of his cartoons have expressed his concerns about global warming. I would expect him to be a nuclear-power advocate, and therefore to try to dispel fears about SNF.
