Sebago Lake, ME looking NW on 18-NOV-2021; Land mass most prevalent to left is actually an island with a 9 hole golf course and maybe 100 homes; to the right is Raymond Neck. This is the "small part" of the lake. On a clear day (not today) Mt Washington in NH can be seen (50 miles) Spring fed; 300ft deep, land locked salmon IIRC

I drove to Napa County today. Made my way to Yountsville. Walked around and saw some colorful chocolates that I did not sample. Then stopped at V.Sattui winery for some food. Bought a margherita panini, Mac and Cheese (Gruyère), a baguette and some Emmentaler. No vino. Stopped in St. Helena and had a kouign amann and a latte. Then drove to Calistoga to Sebastopol. Weather was little capricious with some sprinkles here and there but it wasn't cold and the sun came through a few times.

An 87-foot-long blue whale skeleton is on display at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center in Santa Cruz. The skeleton is about twice as long as a regular city bus and still quite a bit longer than an articulated bus (ca 60 feet). That's average size and blue whales do get up to at least 110 feet long. When I'm out surfing I see all kinds of whales. Feeding blue whales are a bit creepy because of their giant scoop-like mouths coming up wide open, sometimes right next to me. While they can't swallow anything bigger than a baseball, getting thrashed by baleen and being pummeled by the huge tongue can't be pleasant. There also usually a hundred seagulls dive bombing in the feeding zone. 🐳 🏄‍♂️

Trevor the brother and sisters dog. Lean, and more energy than last year. He lost 12lbs as had a thyroid issue. Hair on his tail grew back also. He’s softer too and full of energy.
