noack volatility ?

Just wondering is the lower the noack volatility % number the better or is it the other way around

yup, lower the better. But only with regard to evaporative loss.

what im wondering is 5w30 vs 10w30 in pennzoil plat. my truck can use both so I figured since the 10w30 has lower noack numbers and I have close to 100k miles I would use 10w30
