My daughter's Escape has no tail lights or dash lights. I thought a fuse, but have not found a fuse for labeled tail lights. Headlights come on fine, but no tail lights. Would they not be both on the same circuit?

Headlights are on a circuit breaker. And good thing, too, wouldn't want anything else on the circuit that could take out the lights and cause an accident.
Often an aftermarket stereo is to blame for this blowing-- the dash lights are on the taillight fuse.

According to the owner's manual the fuse for the tail lights is number 15 in the passenger compartment fuse box.

So, what caused the fuse to blow? Do you have a trailer plug/hitch on the vehicle?

Not sure why it blew. I was towing a trailer in the rain when it went out...
