ok sorry about the delay it took me a min to figure out how to put them up.(im not real computer savy)

anyway this is my wife's 2004 explorer 4.0 v6
it has 110k on the clock
i have documentation that the first 50k were with QS
and the second 50k were with PYB
then i started taking care of it and did the last 10k with PP
all oci were 3k
this is the coolest thing to me
i was expecting sludgecity
i take back every rotten thing i ever said about penz products!!!
i dont think 3 ocis with PP would clean a dirty engine this much
i believe it has always been clean

oh yea the pics dont really do it justice i took the with a phone and a flashlight. i wish you guys could see what i saw!!
everything in it is clean!! the cam lobe is the worst looking part
as far as color. im amased

i wish my f150 was this clean; its tan inside. not bad mind you but it has varnish.

I'm not really impressed. I've had, and continue to have, great results with SOPUS products.

It's unfortunate you spent your first 50 posts bashing QS & PZ without looking in your engine first.

we got the truck used; a hand me down from her mother with 100k
the last 50k were pennz so i ran pp in it because it advertised to be very clean and i figured it would be less likely to gunk up because its the same maker.

pennz has had a bad rep all my life and the engines i have been in that the owner swore by pennz or QS were very ugly to say the least. maybe its because they were wore out pos or maybe the oil is diff now idk

one thing i do know is everytime i change the oil on her truck it is black as night at 3k
and every time i change the oil on mine it is cleaner but mine has varnish build up from what i can see in the oil hole
idk what the previous owner used or the oci was i got it with 125k on the meter

needless to say i will be runnin a few ocis with PYB and MMO in my truck and then switching it to PP!!

im not saying the engine was dirty and 3 ocis with PP made it sparkle(thats far fetched) what i am saying is i KNOW FOR A FACT pennz products and 3k ocis will give you a clean engine at 110k. no guess work, no claims, i saw it in that engine.

it seems to be if your used oil is dark but not gritty and still smooth feeling the oil is doing its job dissolving and holding the contaminates. just a theory

i would have never even looked if i had not of read the pennz Q&As. every time some mentioned extended ocis they shot em down and said all they care about is a clean well protected engine.
they could have said "buy our oil and it will go 10k" but they seemed honest to me when they said they really just want clean engines. so knowing this vehicles history i wanted to give it a look and see just how clean their oil was or wasn't.
i think the results speak for them selves and crow tastes like dirt
