Nissan Oil Filter

Not sure but I just purchased a nissan 15208-9e000 to replace my cheapy Honda accord 2003 canadian filter (copy of a Fram). It is a direct replacement of the U.S.made filter(same size)and mutch better made (Japan).Bypass valve very similar.Actually it is the long model.

Nissan filter is pretty good.
What application is this for? I believe that my 2000 Altima used it(as well as most metric Nissans now).

Stock for my Nissan was Fram/Puro/Wix...ph7317/14610(20)/51356.

I am using these as the oversized for the Altima:
2849/L20073/51347 (preferred),
3807/L24458/51344,
3593/l14459/51334.

I use the K&N HP1010 for my Nissan Sentra.

As far as aftermarket filters-if you look up the filter for the 2000 maximna that will be the big one.

All Nissan's from 2001 on went to the shorter filter to insure they fit all applications. If you look at the PureOne 14610 and compare it to the Fram/SuperTech 7317, PureOne 14620, Mobil 1 1-110, or Like I said the K&N 1010 you'll see the difference. I'm not sure about the OEM (Nissan) numbers though. Some Nissan dealers will automatically put on the longer OEM filter on all Nissan Carlines from 2001 on.

Not sure I answered your question-and there may be an even larger filter out there-just not sure. Although the ST 2808 will work if there is room-its short but fat. I still highly recommend the K&N though.
