Recently noticed the short Nissan OEM filter 15208-65f0C has been updated to 15208-65f0E. I bought a couple and noticed these new filters have a silicone ADBV and feel heavier then their predecessor. I would venture to say they probably have metal end caps like their bigger brother does too. It appears they are now made in Mexico like the longer Nissan OE filter is. I just wish I knew what the efficiency/micron rating is for these filters. Anyone have any thoughts about this updated filter or know what the efficiency/micron rating is for these filters?

In my opinion, the Japanese Automobile Companies are moving parts, assembly, and everything else connected to automobile production away from China to other countries. They are doing it to insure that their supply system will not be disrupted because of unavailable Chinese supplied parts. U.S. manufacturers should take notes as well in my opinion. There may be billions of Chinese, however, most are extremely poor and there is a very small and slowly growing middle class that could dwindle depending on circumstances.

I will check my stash when I get home, but I thought the previous Nissan OE filters also had silicone ADBVs.
