I've said it in other threads. I like CVTs...for certain vehicles, not all vehicle.
I like the CVTs in my Altima and both of my daughter's Civic's. Thus far, they've been performing the way they're designed, and I like that feel. OTOH, if we drove more performance oriented vehicles, I'd prefer different types of trannys suited for that vehicle. But for the everyday-ness in our daily drivers(DD's), the CVT is perfect and is neither unobtrusive nor finicky. If they were, of course we'd not like'em.
