Yep, that's the Meijer parking lot...more to the east end of that plaza. Sad part is I have seen that exact car before....

My solution to worrying about door dings?

I have a very, very narrow car. (2000 Honda Insight)


When I had a big fat wide car like my Lexus LS400, I worried all the time.

Now... shoot, this car is so small, it doesn't get dinged!

Unless you see them park, you never know if their location is in response to others, or if they are just poor drivers.

There may be some exceptions, like the first photo. I can't imagine what might have you parked that far out of the space.

But who knows.

And yeah, I've been so tired I forgot to fuel up, and probably parked that way as well when my daughter was first born and sleep was a luxury.
