NGK Ruthenium Spark Plugs

I have them in my Accord, daughters CRV and sons Forte. All from RA.

I put some in FIL's Jeep Renegade when we working on the misfires which turned out to be bad coil packs. They went away when Jeep put a new motor in it for oil pressure issues under warranty.

Something wrong with that engine if it needs that plug. - and it's not an Aircraft.

More electrode = more change of flame kernal snuff, and then pre- ignition when the buggers get yellow hot.

Looks like an old Audi Bosch plug
BMW spec'd four electrode plugs on most of their engines from 2000 to 2005. E39 and E46 and others. Both NGK and Bosch were OEM suppliers and still make them. I use them in my 2001 540 M-Sport for the past 23 years...

I believe they previously spec'd two electrode plugs in the late 1990s. Interestingly, on newer engines from 2006 or so, they went back to single electrode plugs. But still recommend the previous four electrode plugs to be used in the older engines. Just for fun, I substituted some NGK Iridium single electrode plugs for about 40k miles and noticed absolutely no difference in operation. But back to the oem plugs. Turned 365,000 miles last weekend.

The ngk ruthenium are my favorite. I used them for my 20 psi boost turbo audi and they were the most durable and smoothest compared to anything else.
