NGK or Champion

FWIW I had a Champion go bad on my Snapper 7.25 Briggs mower after a year; have never seen that happen before. I replaced it with another Champion and it's still working to this day. Been 5 years. I'm in the mindset also that unless you're having problems starting/running just leave the sparkplug alone.

In cars, I always use what is spec'd by the manufacturer. Having said that, if I buy a new lawn mower, snow blower, etc. and it came with a Champion plug the factory, I immediately replace it with the equivalent NGK. In my experience, NGK plugs start faster and more reliably. Once the engine is running, I don't notice any difference.
