Nothing new here. It's a Miller cycle engine just like the one they offered in the Millenia years ago.
It has great potential mileage but it seems to get lost in real world driving.

That's the thing though. Everything new. It's a totally new take on IC engines. I personally find the philosophy very refreshing in the copycat automotive world.

Sorry, Atkinson cycle. And it's only 13 to 1 in the US. That's not high in the world of DI engines today.
