Excellent !! That "or" opens you up to some good 5W30 oils that are API SN (but not GF-5).

As Garak said, a Euro oil that is rated ACEA C3 as well as API SN would meet your requirements, but is also a lot stronger (higher HTHS) and thicker (higher KV100) than a typical GF-5 (resource conserving) oil. BTW most GM Dexos2 oils (not to be confused with Dexos1-Gen2) are effectively C3 oils.

For example Mobil1 5W30 ESP
KV100 = 12.1 cSt
HTHS = 3.58 cP
SA = 0.6 %
It's API SN and also ACEA C3, dexos2, BMW LL-04, MB 229.51 and Porsche C30

This oil has higher HTHS but is low-SAPS (low SA%, & TBN) so it's not for a long OCI (oil change interval), but it should easily do 6k miles.

The Shell Rotella Multi-Vehicle I mentioned before has a higher TBN (to fight acid build up in the oil) so it should be good for 10k miles if not more. But I suspect your OCI will be limited by warranty requirements anyway.

Both are quality, name brand, full synthetic, 5W30 API SN oils.
