Impressive looking tire with plenty of sipes that go close to the base . Tread depth is 11/32s' for the Ascend LX . It's 11.5/32s' for Tiger Paw Touring A/S and 10/32s' for the Altimax RT43 . Considering these along with new UNIROYAL Tiger Paw Touring A/S (H) and GENERAL Altimax RT43 (H) . They're on display at NISSAN dealer . This size ( 205/55-16 , H rated ) Ascend LX and Altimax RT43 have a higher price than the UNIROYAL Tiger Paw Touring A/S , but the rebates should help that . Pictures are left to right .

I would choose Yokohama. They are made in the USA.
I'm thinking Uniroyals would suck on wet surfaces.
The Altimax RT43 might be a good tire, but wasn't Margaret Thatcher in office when those tires came out?

My 02 TL has been on Generals since the OEM Michelins wore out
2009 Gen Evertreks HP
2015 Gen RT43
ive lost 2 tires 1- huge pothole- broke sidewall // 2- road hazard = debris..

All-in-all Generals has served me well

Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring H were 5th from the bottom in Consumer Reports 2019 used car buying guide. Wet traction was just fair and they were noisy. Ride was good however.

I just had General Evertrek RTX tires put on my wife’s 2015 Altima at town fair tire. No complaints so far. Didn’t have the Altimax in stock and I wanted tires that day
