I'd never put the stuff in my 5spd Torqshift tranny. It calls for Mercon SP only. And I swear I thought the bottle reads NOT recommended for Mercon SP applications.

Curious...I've only seen the bottles around here that state it is "suitable" for Merc V.

New bottles look different? I am assuming they say officially licensed for Merc V. Is this correct?

I would like to use this, but I want the new formula.
